Welcome to Opportunity

Updated: Jul 24, 2020

In a crazy, mixed-up world you can enjoy Financial Peace

Welcome to the end of the world. The last few months have been a period of unprecedented change for the 3rd rock from the sun and the space on it we call the United States. Politics, the global pandemic, a horrible financial crisis affections millions, civil unrest - and it's only July!

With everything going on you may be concerned about how this all impacts you. Who am i kidding? You're likely past concerned, blew right by worried, and went straight to terrified.

Opportunity is all around you. You have the opportunity to dump the restaurants and get the whole family used to eating at home again. You have the opportunity to spend less time and money in the grocery store getting only what you need. You have the opportunity to stay home and not go to the movies. You have the opportunity to do all sorts of things to get you back on track financially. And more importantly, you have the opportunity to get back that family time that was so hard to find. People are actually eating at the dinner table again, going to the park, and enjoying time together.

And you have the best opportunity in a long time to sit down and go over your financial plan.

I was reading a blog article at the Dave Ramsey web site the other day that talked about how to take control of your finances in a recession. One thing got my attention:

"Recession or not, there’s no time like the present to take control of your money. If living through a pandemic wasn’t enough to light a fire underneath you, then maybe the recession will help send the message home—you need a plan for your money."

So what's your plan? Do you have one? Is it current? Are you following it? Just because we're in a recession and a pandemic doesn't give you a pass to slow down on your financial dreams. Unless you've lost your job or have a baby on the way you should still be paying off debt, continuing to save, and continuing to invest. You have to keep pushing and stay on your plan.

Don't have a plan? Don't know where to start? Check out a step-by-step plan we call The Baby Steps. If you need one-on-one help then click the link above and schedule a complementary consultation.

When you have a plan and are following it, then you can achieve Financial Peace.

And when you have a plan you can be hiking the shore of a beautiful lake and enjoying the beauty of this world.

It's the End of the World. And I feel fine.

Take Care.
